A Trotwood native will share the ups and downs of the first year of marriage with a national viewing audience on Bravo TV’s series “Newlyweds: The First Year.”
Toi Troutman-Walker and her hubby Rouvaun Walker will appear on the show premiering at 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 10.
Season two of the documentary-style show also follows Samantha Abby and Laura Leigh Abby, Erik Courtney and Nadine Jolie Courtney and Kirk and Laura Knight.
The Walkers, he a mortgage banker and she the owner of a hair extension line, had their first date in 1996, but separated. They rekindled the flame 15 years later after finding each other on Facebook.
Toi, a former celebrity publicist, moved from Los Angeles to Northern California to be with Rouvaun.
From the couple’s bio: “ Toi understands the need for making sacrifices in a relationship but with Rouvaun constantly traveling now for business, she battles loneliness in a new city and can’t shake the desire to move back to LA. The newlyweds, both in their mid-40s, face the challenge of merging their complicated lives together. With elderly parents, stepchildren on both sides and Toi’s personal struggle with Lupus, the duo’s patience and resilience is tested. Can they handle their full plate and make the necessary compromises for the sake of their marriage?”
Hmmmm… Sounds interesting.
